What it does
Compliance Agent is a tool that scans for the keywords your organisation defines, within the frame of adherence to its policies.
It scans. Exchange (Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange Server), OneDrive, Microsoft Teams and on-premises disks (DiskScanner); with your organisation’s keywords and patterns, for the user groups you choose. Ready-made rule packs are optional.
The organisation decides. It starts with a Safe Scan that touches nothing. Action modes stay off until you turn them on; if you do, an action is applied only to what you selected, within the hard action limit you set. Before an action, a copy of each OneDrive file is placed in your own storage.
It shows what you did. Every administrative step goes into an audit log nobody inside the product can change; with Verify integrity you check that no entry has been changed or is missing. Your KVKK officer can take the read-only Reporter role.

If you use Microsoft Purview, Compliance Agent works alongside it: Purview assesses where you stand; Compliance Agent helps you verify adherence to your organisation’s policies.
